Beatriz has over 6 years’ experience of consulting on matters relating to noise and acoustic comfort across various sectors.
She provides recommendations to developers in coordination with the design team to establish pragmatic solutions and achieve planning approval as well as acoustic design targets.
She advises on planning and noise mitigation of industrial and commercial noise sources in close co-operation with the client.
Beatriz also acts as a design team member, advising architects and property design professionals on the acoustic considerations for buildings, providing acoustics-related support from RIBA Design Stage 2 to completion.

Experience Highlights
Acoustic modelling and environmental noise assessment of large residential developments in support of planning submissions, in line with local guidelines and including consideration of an overheating scenario;
Building and room acoustics advice from early design stages through to completion for a range of sectors, including mixed-use, residential, offices, hotels, worship spaces, nursing homes and schools;
Assessment of internal ambient noise levels considering mechanical ventilation systems and other building services;
Environmental plant noise modelling and assessment of various types of equipment including ASHPs, mechanical ventilation systems, steel works, solar farm equipment, large generators and transformers;
Room acoustics modelling and design for worship spaces, an educational concert hall and black box theatre.
